“Boulevard Europeiskyi” Residential Complex

A landscape project for two residential courtyards located on the parking podium roof, between newly built residential buildings. Each courtyard opens onto a panoramic view of Ivano-Frankivsk’s city lake. Access to the courtyards is only through the 2nd floor of the residential buildings, preserving their privacy for residents.

The orthogonal forms of the landscape echo the architectural form of the buildings, while varying continuously in height and being reinforced by the structure of the planting. The combination of natural materials underpins the landscape design code.

The core of each courtyard is a children’s sports and play area, each distinct in character and function — an amphitheater in the first courtyard, and climbing frames in the second. On the lake side, an open, active terrace is formed. On the opposite side of the courtyard, by contrast, are “green rooms” — intimate spaces for quiet, calm leisure. Private plots adjoining the apartments are separated from the shared space by a dense green buffer.
