Lviv North – Lviv North is a test-planning project for the northern outskirts of Lviv (Zboishcha and parts of Zamarstyniv and Holosko). We’re glad to be part of this process, working alongside the ONPlan Lab team and colleagues from Ukraine and across Europe. The project is run in partnership between the cities of Lviv and Zurich, the Canton of Zurich, and the Swiss Network with Ukraine, involving interdisciplinary teams from Ukraine, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France.
The goal is to develop a practical framework for the development of northern Lviv at the intersection of urban development and natural landscape, balancing the interests of the community, the municipality, and investors.
The process involves the Ukrainian bureaus ATO-Bel Architects, Burø, Urbanideas, Room 66 Studio, Drozdov & Partners, AVR Development, and ABMK, as well as international firms — Hosoya Schaefer Architects, Agence TER, Martin Duplantier Architectes, Karres en Brands, West 8, FLOU, Studio Vulkan, and DRMA°.
