This is a nine-story development on Vasyl Ivasyuk Street in Ivano-Frankivsk. The complex’s territory is divided into three zones, each serving a different usage scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first zone is an active public space along the street, combining a commercial component with a pedestrian through-route and areas for rest. A distinctive feature of the site is the preservation of a mature willow tree, which we integrated into the new landscaping as the focal point of this zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second part of the project is the inner courtyard, where we aimed to offset the height of the buildings with trees enclosing the courtyard’s inner core, creating a sense of enclosure. Since garage spaces are located along the building’s perimeter on the ground floor, it was important to provide vehicle access to them while still prioritizing pedestrians. To achieve this, we applied the “shared streets” principle, where sidewalks, roadways, and garage entrances are set at a single level. The driving lanes are designed as single-lane, encouraging drivers to slow down. A sports and play area, along with seating for parents, is placed at the center of the courtyard. Rest areas are separated from the play zone by perennial planting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The third zone of the project is a small island dedicated to rest. Despite being surrounded by garages and driveways, we managed to create an intimate green space that flows smoothly into the other parts of the landscaping. Overall, in this project we sought to disperse the functional zones across the entire territory of the residential complex, creating separate, distinct, and comfortable places for residents.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
