Green Line
The Green Line is a project of a bicycle-pedestrian route, approximately 8 km long, which would connect the Sykhiv residential area with several public facilities and institutions, public spaces and the center of Lviv.
The project aims to create opportunities for users with different levels of mobility and various motivations to use this route, meeting both their daily and weekend needs.
The Green Line is potentially one of the "branches" of the city's green network, which will strengthen its mobility, create additional access to green spaces, and motivate citizens to an active lifestyle. This route does not duplicate or replace the development of the city's planned bicycle network but instead offers an alternative with a variety of opportunities for the use of space by pedestrians, cyclists, and users of other alternative types of non-motorized transport.
