Tustan
Tustan is a historical and cultural reserve, with multiple natural rock formations, on which in the IV-XVI centuries there was a medieval city-fortress and customs. Traces and signs of an ancient fortress were found and preserved on the rocks. Today Tustan is a popular tourist location: a museum, a place of rest, festivals, and other events. The reserve, its infrastructure and the area around it are constantly developing, new archaeological research and discoveries are carrying out. Tustan and its surrounding territory is also a unique landscape environment in the middle of the Carpathian Mountains.
It is the landscape that is the main direction that we are working on within the framework of this project. The project process is live – that is, it is created, developed and updated together with the development of the territory and infrastructure of Tustan. Material, set out below in chronological order of idea development, design and implementation. The main principles for us in this project are maximum preservation and integration into the existing natural environment, compliance with the common vision of the development of the complex developed by our colleagues.
